Hot Stuff Glass Workshop and Gallery is located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. Established in 1989, Alan Barbier and Mary Certoma melted and blew glass weekly while designing new forms daily. Their love for the medium gave way to a style all their own. Each piece is a one of a kind and is signed and dated by the artist.
Once the economics and age changed the couple, so did their work. They loved glass. Mary started the technique of glass slumping and fusion, jewelry making in sterling, and sculpturing. While Alan returned to building.
Our last day of blowing glass was in January 2005 and any pieces we sell now are from our personal collection. There is only a limited number of pieces still available
The care of blown glass is hand wash only in luke-warn water and never use for hot foods of put in the microwave.
